My first book signing was such a success. It helped so much to have family and friends around me. The simple act of being there really reinforced that I'm living out my dream, being who I want to be.
And for my new grads, don't fret--you don't have to be past the entry-level stage to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Reach for your goals and plant seeds and enjoy what you're doing, even if it's not ultimately where you want to be.
Cuz you'll get there eventually, and the journey is half the fun!

Congrats! Sounds like a lot of fun.
Having family and friends there for support is so important. Living in Madison,WI working on BC while all my loved ones are back in Jersey is tough. I'm jealous.
