For those of you that have a job already, you're probably noticing that it's not always fun being the new kid. Many people, in fact, don't know how to deal with working with 20-somethings because they can feel threatened by someone who is more open to learning or demands less in money and benefits. They think their company just wants the newest model of everything. Sometimes that's not true--so it's important for older folks to learn how to work with entry-level employees.
Can there be harmony?
I'd love to hear some tips for older folks on how to deal with 20-somethings. Is it best to pretend they're hanging with old college friends? Does it help when they give you extra work so you can learn the ropes?
